I automate things so I don't have to do them twice.
Generalist engineer — SRE by day, builder by habit.
About
I got my start in AV — programming Crestron control systems, configuring Cisco room devices, and making sure the boardroom wasn't a disaster five minutes before a big meeting. It was hands-on, fast-paced, and I loved it.
Somewhere along the way I caught the coding bug. What started as "let me just write a script for this" turned into a full-on passion for building things. I made the jump toward DevOps, kept growing, and now I'm a Senior SRE — keeping systems reliable, deployments sane, and on-call from waking anyone up at 3am.
Day to day I live mostly in Ansible — playbooks, automation pipelines, turning manual toil into things that just run. When the job calls for it I build full-stack apps too, usually React on the front and Express or C# on the back.
I'm a generalist by nature. I'll pick up whatever tool gets the job done and figure it out as I go. When I'm not at a keyboard I'm usually diving into something new just to see how it works. #NeverStopLearning
Skills
Tools I reach for regularly. The list keeps growing — that's kind of the point.
Projects
A mix of work tools, automation scripts, and things I built because I needed them.
